Drawing is the work as well as the starting point.

For Gloria Ojulari Sule, drawing is the basis for all her artworks. She will introduce the ways in which she uses drawing to focus, plan, document, communicate and for the sheer pleasure of mark-making. Gloria will also explore the ways in which other artists of African heritage have used drawing in their practice – looking at ideas of culture and identity.

The presentation, from 4 to 4:30 PM, will be followed from 4:30 to 6 PM by a drop-in drawing session for adults and young people on the First Floor of the library. You can come to one or both events.
