Norfolk Black Film Festival 2009
Running throughout Black History Month
With an eye on the 50th anniversary of Motown and its continuing influence as the backbone of popular music, the 2009 film festival boasts an array of interesting screenings, from The Wiz and Standing in the Shadows of Motown to cult classic Blacula and literary classic The Color Purple. Famous names featured in this year’s line-up include Tina Turner and Michael Jackson.
