Celebrating Muhammad Ali
To be confirmed
From a poor Black American family, Muhammad Ali became one of the greatest and most inspirational sportsmen in the work. Even when ill health ruined his career, he retained his dignity and strength as a role model.
Interface Learning presents a one-day event during school half-term to celebrate his life, including a workshop for young people with a session tutor to examine his specialist fighting techniques, and a discussion group on his ethics and pacifist beliefs.
This event is amongst 14 that were each awarded a bursary by Norfolk Community Cohesion and Norfolk County Council in partnership with the Norfolk Black History Month Steering Group.
