Kenny ‘Kulcha’ Moonie

Kenny died in Ghana in 2010 – a reggae ambassador, working to promote good relations and the message of reggae
to uplift the oppressed masses
. He set up a foundation to help young people across Africa to become involved with and work in the music industry and became an example to the global roots reggae music fraternity.Music night at Clarke’s music venue (Norwich) with local singers. There will be a visual display of photographs and information about Kenny’s life and achievements. Caribbean food. Open to all.
This event is amongst 14 that were each awarded a bursary by Norfolk Community Cohesion and Norfolk County Council in partnership with the Norfolk Black History Month Steering Group.
