Great Yarmouth BHM Finale

- Venue: Out There Covered Village,Market Place, Great Yarmouth
- Price: FREE
- Programme: Yarmouth's new Out There International Festival has come together with Great Yarmouth International Association and NEAD to present a free International Music Day for the whole family to enjoy. Performers include local favourites Anna Mudeka and José Ferrera Mulen as well as a staggeringly energetic set by 10-piece favela combo MOLEQUE DE RUA (literally, Street Urchin). Several generations of Sao Paulo street kids make their innovative instruments from recycled material and concoct excitingly original sounds mixing samba and other traditional Brazilian rhythms with rock, funk and hip hop. In their dynamic stage show they not only decry the poverty, corruption and violence rife in Brazil but also exuberantly celebrate the force of their own life-saving culture.
