Kenya Book Group Twinning
Creative Arts East is proud to present, in partnership with Norfolk County Council Library Service and the British Council, an exciting book twinning project. A County Council book group has twinned with a Kenyan book group in July 2005. This was a precursor to a book group from the Norfolk & Norwich Millennium Library twinning with a Kenyan book group in October as part of Black History Month celebrations. The book they read in 2005 was 'A Grain of Wheat' by Ngugi wa Thiong'o. The Kenyan book group will in turn read a book by a Norfolk writer in 2006.
